Studio Bones did it with an amazing movie, ‘My Hero Academia: Two Heroes/僕のヒーローアカデミアTHE MOVIE〜2人のヒーロー’. Beautiful animation with amazing fighting scenes, the anime series My Hero Academia has their first movie.

Everyone was great in the film and the way they introduce the characters was fun and fitting for their characters. Unfortunately, not all of Class 1-A were in the film along with the beloved Aizawa-sensei. Even so, it was nice to see some classmates even though they had a small screen time.

We saw a bit of All Might’s younger days in America and his friendship with Dave. The film has moments where it shows how Deku is All Might’s successor. Even Dave sees the same light of All Might in Deku. It also shows the next generation by Melissa and Deku representing Dave and All Might.

There were moments that took me surprise like Bakugo, Todoroki and Kirishima appeared to the rescue to help Uraraka, Melissa and Deku. It also surprised by the little part All for One had in the villain’s plan.

You don’t really need to watch all the episodes of My Hero Academia series since they explain the world of quirks, how All Might and Deku met, and One for All. The movie takes place after Season 2 and before Season 3. Episode 20 of Season 3 leads up to the movie where All Might receives the invite and him inviting Deku to the I-Expo.

If you love the fighting scene between Deku and Bakugo in season 3, you’ll love the fight scene in this movie. The movie really surprised me because there were moments where I was questioning how they were going to make everything right again.

In the beginning, there are two eagles to introduce All Might’s young days in America with him and Dave. Towards the end of the film, we see the two eagles again to represent All Might and Deku.

Lots of funny and cute moments with Kacchan and the other characters~

The tickets sold out that they had to add two more shows in the North America release. I was luckily able to see the subtitle version~ After the movie was over, I already missed all of them! It was cool that the movie showing happened towards the end of Season 3, so I was able to watch the last episode of the season than was able to see the movie soon after.

Can’t wait to watch it again! It was a fun experience to watch~
