--------------------------------------------------CONTAIN SOME SPOILERS--------------------------------------------------------

One of the sequels we’ve been waiting, ‘Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again’ (2018) brings the fun, cheesy, musical theme like the first film. They brought back some of the old cast and we see some new cast who did a wonderful job in this film. The casting of the younger version characters really fit well to the original characters.

The editing was really smart in this film during some of the musical numbers and the parallel from present Sophie to the young Donna. The placing of parallel scene makes you think one thing, but then thrown off when another piece revealed. Peter Lambert has worked on different genre films compared to ‘Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again’ (2018), a musical.

Robert D. Yeoman has also worked on various films with different genres such as ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ (2014) and ‘Spy’ (2015). The cinematography was beautiful throughout the film, but there is one part that bothered me. It was the lighting on Young Donna while she and young Sam were on a boat. They were having a serious moment and the sun’s glare would cover Young Donna’s face. I know it’s difficult to control lighting while on the ocean.

There are some facts from ‘Mamma Mia!’ (2008) that don’t really align in the second film, but ‘Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again’ (2018) was still a fun, amazing movie to enjoy!

Trivia! There is a scene in the film where it takes place in Japan. You can see a huge poster of ‘Boruto’ and a medium poster of ‘Jojo’s Bizarre’ which was a fun pop culture to see if you know about anime~

Film and TV Show Recommendations

After I watch a Film or a TV show, I always list the name and the Director of the work.  At the end of the year, I count them all to see how many I've seen in that year.  These Films or TV shows are my Top works that I recommend. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Grand Budapest Hotel (Wes Anderson)      - Originally a novel, A Man narrates the story about his days of working as a Bell Boy at The Grand Budapest Hotel.  The Bell Boy also talks about the Concierge of the hotel.  I love the Cinematography of the film along with the interesting Story plot.  I feel like the Film's humor depends on the person's taste in humor.  The Humor was delivered through dialogue and action.  There are a few scenes that might not be appreciated by some people.  So, make sure you look closely at the rating of the film.  Hyouka (23 episodes) ...
