meeting Luke and the Rebellion.

Unfortunately, ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’
didn’t do well in the box office compare to other films and Star Wars film. I
enjoyed the film and all the small things that connects to the previous Star
Wars movies such as Chewbacca with the chest, ripping arms and such. We see how
Han develops characteristics that we see in the original movies. The interesting
relationships Han has where he is friends with people, but there’s no trust
between the two such as Han and Beckett.
The cast did a great job, such as
Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian~ I thought Alden Ehrenreich did a pretty good
job portraying Han. Sometimes it felt out of character of what I thought Han should be, but the film takes place when Han is younger, so that could play into it. Cool to see an evil Vision~ Always love the androids in the
Star War universe, and L3-37 was a great character to watch and her interaction
with others around her.
I enjoyed the twist towards the end
where Han double tricked Beckett and Dryden. Whenever I see Han with Qi’ra, in
my head I’m like, ‘What about Princess Leia, just wait for her bro!’
It’s sad that they’ll be putting a hold
on spin-off Star Wars film since ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ didn’t do so well,
but I enjoyed the film~
I was surprised when I saw Dark Maul at the end. I was even more confused on how old Han was since I thought Dark Maul died when Anakin was a kid. After the I saw the movie, I looked it up and found out that in the animated series, 'Star Wars: Clone Wars' (2013) that Dark Maul survived. It was strange to me how they made something from the animated series canon in a live action film.
Fun fact: The Director, Ron Howard,
also directed ‘The Grinch’ (2000). Ron Howard directed a wide genre of films
such as ‘The Dark Tower’ (2017) and ‘In the Heart of Sea’ (2015)
